Farm Activities
Duck Pump RacesThe dump pump races have proven themselves at the Niverville & Steinbach fairs this spring. People of all ages enjoyed pumping the old fashioned water pumps.
Rope Maze
The rope maze is being made for this season. With 225 poles and 1,200 yards of rope, it should be a brain teaser.
Zip Line
The zip line has become an instant favorite for people of all ages. The zip line has a starting point of 22’. Safety harnesses and helmets are worn at all times.
For a thrilling sensation, come to one of our Friday Night “Bring A Flashlight Event” and jump off the zip line into total darkness.
Train Rides
A 1946 John Deere M Tractor pulls a train of 5 cars that can each seat 6 comfortably. This ride is a relaxing, 15 minute ride.
Pumpkin Sling Shot
Pick your gourd or small pumpkin and try to hit a barn.
Pumpkin Painting
Sit down at a picnic table in our well treed play area with the pumpkin of your choice. Paints and brushes are supplied, all you need is creativity. In rain or cool weather, the pumpkin painting is moved into our spacious vegetable display area.
Face Painting
Face painting has become popular at Penner Pumpkins and the Scarecrow Forest. Watch the kids faces light up when they look in the mirror and see themselves transformed into Spiderman, a butterfly, a kitten or another design of their choosing.
Corn Trail
The corn trail is located between the play structures and zip lines. The corn patch is 60’x120’ and we anticipate that it will be a big hit for the younger kids.
Farm Animal Maze
This maze is located just off our path in the Scarecrow Forest.
Petting Farm
Cat’s with their litter’s of kittens. Goats and roosters. More Pictures.
